On 2 July 2010, applicants for entry in six Institutes d'Etudes Politiques in France can go to a single competition.
For the third time, Sciences Po Aix-en-Provence, Lille, Lyon, Rennes, Strasbourg and Toulouse are jointly organizing a joint competition entry 1st year Friday, July 2, 2010.

C’est forts de l’inscription de plus de 10.000 candidats en 2008 et en 2009 qu’ils poursuivent leur collaboration en 2010.
Informations pratiques :
- Candidatures : Le concours est ouvert aux bacheliers 2009 et 2010 uniquement. Les titulaires d’un bac antérieur à 2009 peuvent cependant présenter les concours d’entrée en 2ème année propres à chaque IEP.
- Inscriptions : Uniquement en ligne du 1er mars 2010 au 1er juin 2010 ( www.sciencespo-concourscommun.fr ).
- L’examen : Il se déroulera le 2 juillet 2010, all day, simultaneously in six cities.
- Events: Contemporary Issues (duration: 3, coefficient 3, essay, a topic chosen from two). Themes 2010: "Media" and "Old age".
- History (duration: 3, coefficient 3, essay, one subject). 2010 theme: the world since 1945.
- Foreign language (Duration: 1.5 hours, coefficient 2, the choice between English, German, English and Italian). Two exercises: listening and speaking. There are no multiple choice questions. The average bachelor is taken into account (factor 1), admission is imposed on the basis of 4 and 9 notes coefficients, or 180 points.
A total of 1100 seats is about the proposed split between the six IEP.
Ranking is unique for the 6 institutions. The candidates are assigned according to their rank and rank their preferred choices.
