To celebrate thirty years of the minifig, Lego figurines created in the image of our world: Madonna, Amy Winehouse, Sir Cliff Richard, Victoria and David Bekham, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt with their twins, the X Factor judges and Alan Titchmarsh.
Although these figures are unlikely to be marketed, could be regretted that Lego did not honor some scientists as Kepler, Newton, etc..

An ambassador from Lego responded to questions from AFOLs and essentially it is a marketing action Lego UK (hence the balance Anglo-Saxon of minifigs) sui has no existence other than 3D rendering. So no real minifigs in sight, not even in limited release. It
